Tracking an order
The order page shows one of five stages, what it means, and what happens next. You get an email at each change.
The five stages
Paid. Your payment went through and PrintFlows is holding it. The maker has been told to start and hasn't yet. You can still cancel for free.
Being made. The maker marked the print as started. The estimated ready date comes from the lead time they quoted. Free cancellation has ended here, because material and machine time are committed.
Shipped. It's with a carrier, with a tracking number, or ready for pickup. The tracking link on the order page goes to the carrier's own page.
Delivered. The carrier says it arrived. We're still holding the money. This is where you check the part.
Done. You confirmed, or five days passed. The maker's payout is scheduled.
How long each stage takes
The lead time in the quote covers paid through to shipped. Shipping on top is typically 1 to 5 business days within a province, 2 to 8 across the country. Neither the maker nor PrintFlows controls the carrier.
Tracking numbers
Added by the maker when they ship, and emailed to you immediately. If tracking hasn't updated in 48 hours, that's usually a scanning gap rather than a lost package: carriers often don't scan again until the destination depot.
Messaging the maker
There's a message thread on every order. It goes straight to the maker and they get an email. Use it for anything: a colour question, a delay, a change of address before it ships.
Keep it on PrintFlows. A payment arranged in a direct email isn't covered by the refund policy, and we can't help with it.
If it's late
Message the maker first and ask where it is. Most delays are a failed print they're re-running, and they'll tell you.
If a maker has gone quiet past their lead time, we flag the order internally and nudge them. If you'd rather not wait, you can ask to cancel: a maker who's blown their own lead time and isn't responding is a straightforward refund.
Pickup orders
There's no tracking. The maker marks the part ready and you arrange the handover in the message thread. Once they record the handover, the same five-day clock starts.
