Welcome to PrintFlow. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PrintFlow, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.
2. Description of Service
PrintFlow is a marketplace that connects customers who need 3D printing services with makers who provide those services. We facilitate the connection but are not a party to the transactions between customers and makers.
3. User Accounts
Registration
To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it updated.
Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized access.
Account Types
- Customers: Users who request 3D printing services
- Makers: Users who provide 3D printing services
4. Customer Terms
As a customer, you agree to:
- Provide accurate model files and specifications
- Pay for accepted quotes and completed orders
- Communicate respectfully with makers
- Not upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
- Use printed items only for lawful purposes
5. Maker Terms
As a maker, you agree to:
- Provide accurate quotes and realistic timelines
- Deliver quality prints that match the agreed specifications
- Communicate promptly and professionally with customers
- Maintain accurate printer and capability information
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
6. Payments and Fees
For Customers
Customers pay for orders through our platform. Payment is held in escrow until the order is confirmed as delivered.
For Makers
PrintFlow charges a platform fee of 10% on each completed transaction. Makers receive payment after the customer confirms delivery, minus the platform fee.
Refunds
Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis through our dispute resolution process. See our Contact page for more information.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading, you grant PrintFlow a license to use the content for providing our services. You must have the rights to any content you upload.
8. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Upload malicious code or attempt to hack our systems
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Create weapons or dangerous items
- Engage in fraud or deceptive practices
- Circumvent our fee structure
9. Disputes Between Users
If a dispute arises between a customer and maker, both parties should first attempt to resolve it directly. If unresolved, either party may open a dispute through our platform, and our team will review and make a determination.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your settings.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
PrintFlow is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the quality of prints or the reliability of makers. We are not responsible for disputes between users.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PrintFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold PrintFlow harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Montreal, Quebec.
